ACC is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation. Each church within the ACC is self-governing, but works in relationship with other churches in the movement for the purpose of mutual support and the furtherance of the gospel in Australia and overseas.
Townsville Worship Centre is comprised of people from many backgrounds and of various ages and ethnicities. Some people have a previous church background while many people have never been part of a church prior to joining us.
The role of our church is to help each person to reach for his or her potential. We believe that this is the message of Jesus Christ – to bring “life and life more abundant” (John 10:10). God wants the very best for you – we believe that this best is found in knowing who we are and who God is.
We work as a community in a community, a vision that includes youth and children’s outreaches, ministry to every walk of life, facilities for compassionate care, training, education, recreation, and daily ministry to everyone in the Townsville area.
